Session 1: 8 Steps Toward an Embedded Tomorrow

As a pastor of a ministry that is living out the embedded church model, Matt Roberts will share how his leadership team has been able to establish a new culture and engage with their community in new and exciting ways through the integration of 7-day-a-week business. This session will challenge you to ask the question, “Is our church moved by and invested in what we believe?”

Session 2: The Keys to Developing an Embedded Church Facility

Your community is your mission field. Does your building reflect a ministry outpost or a religious museum? Let’s reimagine the true purpose of church facilities and explore how they can be designed to be more effective ministry tools that meet the needs of the community 7 days a week. Hear from Architect Don Mahoney and others on the Building God’s Way team, an organization that has designed more than 800 ministry facilities nationwide.

Session 3: Creating a Financially Sustainable Ministry

Discover how churches across the country are successfully integrating financially sustainable business models that can help free them from debt service to have a greater impact on their community and the Kingdom of God.  Hear from experts in church property development, real estate and Biblical entrepreneurship.

Grab your lunch and choose from 3 breakout sessions for more detailed discussions and Q&A on your area of interest.  Bring your team and “divide and conquer”, or roam between multiple breakouts!

Church Facility Design & Construction “Building God’s Way vs. Building the World’s Way”

BGW Principal Architect Don Mahoney will share the heart and vision behind the founding of Building God’s Way, a unique program that has revolutionized the way Christian church and school buildings are designed and constructed through nearly 800 ministry projects over the past 20 years.  Learn how to reduce the cost of your next building or remodel project by 20-30%.

Church Health & Growth “StratOp: A Strategic System Designed to Help Your Organization Grow”

Most strategic planning processes move as quickly as possible from perceived problem to assumed solution, missing key insights that give unity and competitive advantage. StratOp is different, emphasizing perspective first. When we first understand where we are and how we got here, our plans for the future are built on sharper insight and provide more effective solutions. Powered by the Paterson Process, the StratOp system has helped churches and non-profits as well as corporations, professional sports teams, and even governments. If your team needs clarity, alignment, momentum and growth, StratOp is for you.

Church Funding & Financial Sustainability “First Steps – Determining the Feasibility of For-Profit Ventures in your Church”

Learn about feasibility studies that can help your ministry determine whether a financially sustainable business model might be the right path for you based on market demographics, competitive analysis, potential revenue forecasts and, most importantly, Kingdom impact.  Also hear about a comprehensive ministry funding solution that revolutionizes the traditional capital campaign process while integrating for-profit business models, engaging entrepreneurs within the church, and leveraging the power of planned giving.
